凉快、功耗、超频潜力雄厚
Intel Core微架构不单注重效能力的上升,还在功耗及温度表现上作出了重大改善,Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800只有75W TDP,无论在温度及功耗负载测试中,表现均大幅领先Athlon 64 FX 62及Intel Pentium XE 965约20%以上,拥有极高的效能功耗比。
不少玩家担心Intel把Pipeline Stage减少后,其超频能力会否大幅倒退,然而我们利用Prescott送测的Standard FMB2风冷散热器,并把处理器电压调至1.45V的可接受范围,测试证实Intel Core 2 Extreme可稳定于3.6GHz (327MHz x 11)下完成所有测试,对于专业超频玩家来说,Core 2 Extreme X6800应能让他们大显身手。
